This page explains how the content we publish on biovardi.com is created: who writes it, who reviews it, which sources it relies on and what you can expect from it.
Who writes and who reviews
Biovardi's blog posts and guides are written by the store team and reviewed by Souad Charifi Hadj, licensed pharmacist no. 2676 and founder of Biovardi. Articles she has reviewed state it explicitly in their byline. When a piece of content has not gone through pharmacist review, it does not carry that byline.
Which sources we use
We work with manufacturers' technical information (INCI, concentrations, certificates), with peer-reviewed scientific publications when we discuss actives and ingredients, and with official sources — the European cosmetics regulation, health agencies and certification bodies — when we discuss safety or regulation. When an article cites studies, it links to them at the end.
How content is updated
Articles carry a publication date and, once reviewed, a last-review date. We update a piece of content when the available evidence changes, the regulation changes or our catalogue changes, and we remove or merge articles that become outdated.
Commercial relationship with the products mentioned
Biovardi is a store: we sell some of the products that appear in our content. When an article links to a product in our catalogue, that link goes to our own shop and the profit from its sale is ours. We do not charge brands to appear in articles, and we do not publish sponsored content without saying so. The criteria a product must meet to enter the catalogue are described in our pharmacist's professional profile.
Error correction
If you spot an error in any content — a figure, a concentration, a source — write to us through the contact form. We check it and, where appropriate, correct the article and update its review date.
Purpose of the information
All content on biovardi.com is for educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute diagnosis, treatment or individual medical advice, and it does not replace consultation with a healthcare professional. If a health or skin problem persists, see your doctor or dermatologist.
