We read the complete INCI, not just the front label. If it contains parabens, harsh sulfates, silicones, phthalates, or known endocrine disruptors, it doesn't get in. "Natural" on the bottle means nothing if there isn't a clean formula behind it.
That the active ingredient really works
It's not enough for a product to boast about vitamin C or retinal. We look to ensure that the active ingredient is in a concentration and form that actually does something for your skin. A good ingredient in a token dose is marketing, not cosmetics.
Evidence, not promises
We prioritize brands whose active ingredients have evidence behind them, and recognized organic and vegan certifications. If a brand promises miracles and cannot explain them, we are suspicious on your behalf.
Safety first
