Do you double cleanse?
Double cleansing is exactly what it sounds like: cleansing your skin twice, in two steps.
1-First step:
cleanse your skin with oils – yes, you read that right. Oils help remove oily dirt, makeup residue, our own sebum, environmental pollutants, fumes, car gases... they will deeply cleanse pores, which is very beneficial for oily skin.
To carry out this step, it's important to have an excellent cleanser, and I'm going to recommend 3:
Soothing Cleansing Balm by Jane Apothecary
Take a small amount of balm and melt it between your fingers until it turns into an oil. Apply to the face on dry skin, making gentle circular movements. Take a moment to inhale its exquisite aroma. Then, dampen a cloth in warm water or our exclusive organic cotton cloth and remove the product from your face. Dampen the cloth again in cold water to activate microcirculation. Your skin will be perfectly clean, hydrated, and with a good tone.

Cleansing Balm by Evolve Organic Beauty
Massage onto dry skin, including the eye area. Emulsify with water to create a rich cleansing milk. Rinse off.

Nourish Cleansing Balm by S5.
Warm between the palms of your hands and massage onto dry, clean skin. When emulsified with water, it transforms into a rich cleansing milk. Rinse off.

For me, these are the best oil cleansers I've ever tried.
2-Second step
Cleanse the skin with a water-based cleanser, usually gels, cleansing foams, or bar soaps. These will wash away hydrophilic dirt, ensuring the removal of all impurities present on the skin.
In this phase, you should choose the right cleanser for your skin type, the one you usually use; you don't need anything special.
After this double cleansing, your skin will be very clean, soft, and radiant. You can do it morning and night, and every day without fear of drying out your skin, as these are false beliefs.
Your skin will thank you, and you will see changes within a few days of applying this magnificent ritual.
I recommend that after double cleansing, you apply a facial toner to calm the skin and restore its normal pH, so that when you use your creams or serums, your skin is in optimal condition to absorb the ingredients of your daily treatments.
As you can see, double cleansing holds no more secrets than what I've told you—a ritual copied from Asian women that helps them maintain porcelain skin. But let's not forget that genetics play a big role, so even if your skin doesn't look exactly like that, don't stop double cleansing.
