BB Cream
It is an abbreviation for Blemish Balm. This cream is a multipurpose product. It has light coverage that is perfect for providing a moisturizing and refreshing sensation, as it is truly a moisturizer, with the added benefit of providing an even touch of color to your face.
This cream is designed for those with skin that does not have large or deep imperfections, as it does not offer extensive coverage. It is perfect for younger skin. The vast majority of BB creams include sun protection factors, anti-acne, anti-wrinkle properties, and pore and dark circle correction.
For an even finish, I recommend applying it with your fingers or a sponge.
CC Cream
It is an abbreviation for Color Corrector. This cream is suitable for all skin types. It is a cream that aims to cover as many skin types as possible. In contrast to BB cream, this cream has medium-to-high coverage and incorporates (in most cases) sun protection factor.
The vast majority contain anti-wrinkle and anti-aging treatments and, unlike BB cream, provide luminosity to your face, which is why it is recommended for more mature and damaged skin. They offer broader coverage, making them perfect for skin with deeper imperfections.
Other advantages of these types of creams are that they are available in different shades that perfectly match any skin tone and they are oil-free, making them highly advisable for women with hyperpigmentation.
DD Cream
Its initials DD stand for Dynamic-Do-All or Daily Defense, and its purpose is to protect, which is why they can be formulated with up to SPF 50. These types of creams have even more coverage than CC creams, offer anti-aging treatment, and, above all, act as a protective barrier for the skin thanks to antioxidants.
And what's more, their anti-aging action is long-term, so continuous use could help rejuvenate the skin.
