Our matcha whisk holder is handmade from ceramic.
The color is a pearly white, a creamy white combined with a glossy finish. The matcha whisk holder (Chasen Yasume in Japanese) is used to maintain the shape of the matcha whisk. Its shape allows for better air circulation and prevents mold from forming on the whisk.

USAGE After cleaning the matcha whisk (Chasen), place it on the dry, clean stand to "rest" (Yasume in Japanese).
Do not apply pressure to the whisk. Carefully remove it from the holder the next time you use it to avoid breaking the beaters.
CLEANING Our ceramic is dishwasher safe, but can also be cleaned by hand with detergent.
