Why these four and not others
The sunscreen carries the most weight here. Chemical filters are the most frequently flagged category when hormone disruption in cosmetics is discussed, and this one contains none: it is mineral, based on zinc oxide. It is also tinted, so it evens out your skin tone and for many people replaces foundation. One less product on your face.
The body oil is by Dulcima, the brand we formulate ourselves. One hundred milliliters last for months and replace the drugstore body lotion you apply without reading the label.
How to use it
Morning: cleanser, moisturizer and, as the last step before leaving home, the sun protection drops.
Evening: cleanser and moisturizer. The body oil goes on still-damp skin right after the shower, when it absorbs best.
